Wednesday and Friday we went to Disney! We had a great time. We ended up buying a 4 day pass because it was cheaper than buying individual tickets for 2 days. This way we have 2 more days we can use when we come back in December for Silas' second surgery.
DL is smaller than
Disneyworld. Some of the rides are the same and some were different. We stayed and watched the fireworks both nights - they were beautiful! Silas had fun, the second day he was excited and had trouble but by the afternoon had calmed down. Since he had just had surgery we were able to get a handicap pass. It was so helpful. We were able to keep the stroller with us while we waited in line like a wheelchair and also some rides were able to go through the handicap line which was much shorter! It made the days much more enjoyable for all of us since Silas would not have felt like standing in lines all day.

The castle - much smaller than the one in
DW, but still pretty

How fun! We loved Disneyland -- Fantasyland is so much better there. Looks like you all had so much fun!!
It looks wonderful! What a great idea to split the four day pass. We are thinking about you, miss you, and we can't wait to see you!
Looks like so much fun!
It's so great you guys are getting to do so many fun things while you're out there. I'm sure that's making Silas' recovery that much easier!
I had to laugh at Jason's toothpick - I guess some things never change!
