San Francisco!

We made it to San Francisco!  Yesterday was VERY stressful.  Caroline came down with what I thought was a stomach virus.  After totally freaking out about Silas getting it I made her an appointment with the doctor.  Turns out she has strep.  Poor baby feels terrible...  She is running a high fever, was sick to her stomach (thank goodness the doctor gave her some phenergan gel to keep her from throwing up), has not eaten since yesterday morning and feels yucky.  She is such a trooper!

We have had so many people praying for us and it was felt today.  The day went very smoothly and we even had an empty seat next to Caroline so she could lay down on the plane and sleep.  As soon as we got off the plane, Jason's sister got off her plane right across from us!  She is here to help us for the next few days - so glad to have her!  We had no trouble getting our rental car, we were able to check-in to our hotel early, went out for a late lunch and went grocery shopping for some essentials.  It has been a good day.

Our hotel is really nice.  It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a little sitting room and a little kitchen.  The best part is it was free with Jason's points he earned from doing a good job at work.  A wonderful blessing!  It has a free hot breakfast in the morning and a free happy hour with heavy appetizers at night.  Tonight on the menu is thai chicken wraps and tomato soup = dinner!

Tomorrow afternoon we have Silas' pre-op appointment with Dr. Roberson.  We are looking forward to meeting him since he was not involved with Silas' first surgery.  Please continue to pray for Caroline and for protection for the rest of us (especially Silas!) so that he does not get sick.

So glad you all made it there smoothly and safely! You all are amazing with all that you juggle with such grace. Praying still for the family. Hope CJ gets well soon and everything goes well for Silas. Love to you all!
